Any information concerning status of a jury case shall be communicated to the assigned trial judge. If the judge is unavailable, the circuit clerk shall be notified of the status.

1. The procedure for setting jury cases shall be provided by general order. (See General Order 2.05)
2. No general division civil action set for jury trial shall be removed from the trial list, except upon:

1. Settlement and the presentation of an order to dismiss; or
2. Motion presented to the assigned judge or chief judge by the Thursday prior to trial; or
3. Jury waiver by all parties; or
4. Other action pursuant to Supreme Court Rule.
3. Information concerning the pending status of a jury case shall be immediately communicated to the chief judge's office by the parties of record.
4. The chief judge may reassign any case for trial.
