7.05    County Division: Jury Procedural Rules - Winnebago County

  1. Jury Pre-Trial Conferences

    2. All matters set for jury trial will follow a pre-trial conference schedule established by general order.

  2. Pre-Trial Motions

    3. Pre-trial motions shall be filed within twenty-one (21) days after the initial pre-trial conference, but for good cause shown may be filed at a later date by leave of court.

  3. Motions for Continuance

    1. Criminal Trials

      2. After a case has been set for trial, any motion for continuance must comply with the Code of Criminal Procedure 725 ILCS 5/114-4. (See Appendix B)

    2. Civil Trials

      3. After a case has been set for trial, any motion for continuance must comply with Supreme Court Rule 231.
